Release Notes Q3 2024

New Features:

  • It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas: We've added a new label Chance of Snow that indicates that a ticket was opened while our weather data indicated snow at the plant's location.

Feature Enhancements:

  • This wasn't obvious: But Obvius! We now support obvius data loggers both via FTP push or via an HTTPS API.

  • Edging up: We now support meter data via the Solaredge API.

  • Do you even lift: We improved the automatic retraining mechanism of our off detection, using more data than before. Further, we now use the best available irradiance sensor during live detection.

  • Yes data: Based on the overwhelming feedback, we've adapted our no data detection to only consider the most relevant metrics. This means if we receive data for a device that contains no relevant info, we will still alert that the device logs no data.

  • Tickets please: We overhauled our ticketing engine and fixed a handful of bugs along the way.

  • Good to read: Based on your feedback, we've added the component names to ticket assignment and ticket opening notification emails.

Bug Fixes:

  • It's about time: We fixed a bug that caused the heatmap plots in our monitoring section to not show in the plant's timezone. All plots in monitoring should be shown according to your timezone preference settings.

  • Roses are red, violets are... violet: We fixed a bug where system labels were sometimes not shown in the correct colors.

  • Ain't nobody got time for that: We fixed a performance issue when querying labels and possible assignees during ticket creation and when editing a ticket.

  • It's getting dark: We fixed a bug where our no data detection incorrectly assumed that inverters shouldn't be sending data when we received erroneous irradiance values.
